Xcaret has a wide range of eco-attractions included in the entrance ticket: aquarium, aviary, bird breeding area, mushroom farm, orchid garden, inlet lagoon, many natural beaches and warm crystal clear pools, sea turtles, butterfly pavilion, botanical garden, Mayan Village, museum, archaeological sites, Mayan river, underground river (float down in a life jacket) and a spectacular night show to top off your visit. When you get peckish, you can take your pick from five Mexican and international restaurants. You can stay around for the nightly show, too. Think ancient Mayan rituals, rodeo displays and amazing stunts played out on a torch-lit outdoor stage. With this trip, you’ll need your own transport but you can arrive and leave when you want. Be aware that some of Xcaret’s attractions have an extra charge. This package includes entrance to the park, the evening show, a buffet lunch, soft drinks, guide, locker and the hire of snorkelling equipment. Remember to bring a swimsuit and towel, biodegradable sunscreen, a cap, extra clothing as well as some extra cash.
