Half Day Yangmingshan National Park And Hot-Spring

Live the high life in Taiwan with an afternoon in the stunning Yangmingshan National Park, the only volcanic park in Taiwan with hot springs. The magnificent mountains scenery and the landscaped gardens in traditional Chinese style have won the park a reputation as an urban forest and the ‘garden of Taipei’. One of the park’s stand-out attractions is a large clock made of flowers, with water running around the face and music played every hour. Around the clock are a series of monuments to the likes of Chiang Kai-Shek, the ‘father of Taiwan’ and its first president, the great 17th century philosopher Wang Yang Ming and the beautiful Xinhai Guangfu Building, which commemorates the 1911 revolution that led to the overthrow of China’s last emperor. The park is surrounded by four other majestic mountains, which adds to the dramatic scenery. One of these, Shamao boasts a year-round profusion of colour and a breathtaking natural landscape. This is a good spot for you to enjoy the hot spring soak and a feast of organic vegetables in Mother Nature's nurturing embrace as you nourish your mind, body and soul. The waters are sulphuric acid springs and most of the hotels and restaurants in the area are clustered in Pingdeng Village and in Macao. There are also a few establishments off Yangde Boulevard that offer bathing, restaurant and tea service.
