We’ll head directly for the fishing grounds in Faxafloi, which have been attracting Icelandic fishermen for centuries. The most commonly caught species are cod, catfish, haddock, mackerel and pollock. At the end of the tour the crew barbecue the catch on board for any anglers who want to sample the results of their day’s labour there and then. Or alternatively you can take your catch home or to the Elding Bistro to enjoy a fully cooked meal. This excursion presents both seasoned anglers and complete beginners with a unique opportunity to enjoy the fishing to be had in some of the most richly-stocked waters of this part of the north Atlantic.
