Spend the morning in the heart of Paris and discover where the city was founded in the beautiful Ile de la Cité; exploring the flower market and stroll along the River Seine to admire the prison and last home of Marie Antoinette. The pièce de résistance is the Cathedral of Notre Dame, considered one of the most famous cathedrals in the world. Our guide will explain the many details on the magnificent exterior façade before taking you inside and showing you the spectacular 13th century stained glass windows. Then it’s time to skip the famously long lines and ascend the cathedral towers for some of the best views over the city, accompanied, of course, by the famous gargoyles!

You’ll then have free time to have lunch before we start the second half of the tour at the iconic Louvre museum – a must see. This world famous museum houses the world’s greatest and largest collection of artwork, with 35,000 pieces on show (and another million in the basement!). Your guide will navigate around the queues and crowds to show you the best the museum has to offer whilst bringing the art to life with the stories behind the masterpieces.
