After dinner, hop on a trishaw for a slow ride through the colourful streets of George Town, passing by some of the beautiful heritage buldings. This “three wheel rickshaw”, unique to this part of the world is locally known as the “King of the Road”. Next, visit a popular local night market. The night market moves to a different location every night, so you will be in for a surprise! You will be able to pick-up some bargains here and sample more local food.

• Local hawker delights - taste a variety of local dishes in open air cafes (dinner on own expense)

• Trishaw ride - A 3-wheeled pedicab that used to be a popular mode of transportation for the locals.

Additional charge will be imposed for pick-up from hotels located on Penang Mainland (Butterworth, Taman Terbilang, Raja Uda, Seberang Jaya, Perai, Bukit Mertajam). Dress standards are conservative throughout Asia, especially outside major cities. To respect this and for your own comfort, we strongly recommend modest clothing. This means clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Loose, lightweight, long clothing is both respectful and cool in the predominantly hot Asian climate. Note: INCLUDE 15-min trishaw ride (2 persons sharing a trishaw). Dinner is excluded.

Visit to night market will be replaced by a shopping mall in the event the night market is not available due to unforseen circumstances (etc rainy day).
