With more than 56 years of diving experience on his shoulders – from commercial to military and even sportive scuba diving – Captain Hurtado will be your very own scuba diving instructor on this visit to Scuba Cancun. He is indeed a very special master to have, for he is the very first scuba instructor to work as such in Cancun since he first set up shop here back in 1980, and he hasn’t stopped enlightening people with the art of diving since. The company guarantees not only safe adventures, but also some that are sure to be unforgettable exciting experiences. Cancun is a city renowned throughout the whole globe for being one of Mexico’s single best scuba diving sites. Diving amateurs and professionals flock here from all over the world to glide through its crystal clear waters, admire its rich variety of underwater life and float along its huge and breath-taking coral reef. As you reach Scuba Cancun, you will receive a brief but comprehensive briefing, completely adapted to your level, to ensure you will make the most out of your marine experience. Once briefed, slip on the diving suit and slip into the turquoise waters. Feel like you are departing from Earth and entering a different, strange, haunting and beautiful world, not only deprived of gravity, but surrounded by wonderful, colourful creatures of all shapes and sizes. Duration: Approximately 3 hours.

Start/opening time: Daily at 1:45pm.

End/closing time: At 4:40pm.

Languages: Spanish, English, Italian, Swedish and Norwegian.

Required documentation: All participants must have a valid driving license.

Medical restrictions: The excursion is prohibited for: people who have had any type of operation to the ears, heart or lungs; people with heart problems, diabetes, or with a collapsed lung; people who suffer from epilepsy, claustrophobia or asthma, people under the influence of alcohol or drugs, people on medication for high blood pressure nor pregnant women.

Min. Age: 10 years old.

Voucher validity: Day of the activity.

Others: Not included: wetsuit, reef tax, photos or videos, and tips. We recommend bringing swimsuit, towel, biodegradable sunscreen and extra cash. We will visit the MUSA (Underwater Museum of Art) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. We will visit either The Manchones or The Chitales Reef (one reef per tour) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
