Unaware of the tragic secrets which lie hidden behind the shuttered windows, he begins to feel a sense of unease when he catches glimpse of a young woman dressed in all black at the funeral.

Years later, as an old man, Arthur recounts his experiences to an actor in a desperate attempt to exorcise the ghosts of the past. The play unfolds around the conversations of these two characters as they act out the solicitor’s experiences on Eel Marsh all those years ago. What transpires is a stunning display of acting, direction and suspense at its finest and is sure to be a highlight of your stay in London.
